In 1992, Jay co-founded CAPA Productions with Bret Matheny. After several years of success in video production, Jay left to pursue work in the entertainment industry, and was involved in both television and films. In 1997, Jay joined Killingsworth Presentations, where he worked as a director and producer. His responsibilities included budget planning, theme development, PowerPoint template development, coordination of staff, on-site management, and show direction. Jay left Killingsworth in 2000 and formed Hawkins Media Group, Inc., freelancing with various productions companies across the U.S. In 2002, Jay merged Hawkins Media Group with CAPA Productions. Throughout his career, Jay has managed events ranging in size from 50 attendees to over 3,500 attendees. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pennsylvania State University.
