In 1992, Bret formed CAPA Productions with Jay Hawkins, specializing in corporate video production. Jay left the company a few years later, and Bret continued to develop the business, adding equipment rentals to its growing list of capabilities. Bret developed a relationship with the Norwalk Marriott in Norwalk, California, to provide all audio and video equipment for meetings held at the venue. From this relationship he was able to expand the company’s offerings to include meeting planning and theme development. In 2002, CAPA Productions merged with Hawkins Media Group, Inc.
